Aperitif Slushy Mocktail Recipe

Bittersweet slushy with an alcohol-free bubble float - the perfect mocktail for a hot day

Who doesn't love a frozen drink during summer? I recently tried a new non-alcoholic Aperitif from Ritual Zero Proof, and was inspired to make an Aperitif Slushy Mocktail with an alcohol-free, bubbly float.

How Does the Non-Alcoholic Aperitif Actually Taste?

I was pleasantly surprised by this new offering from Ritual Zero Proof. I previously reviewed their gin on my Instagram account, and it was not for me. But this bottle is interesting and complex, definitely ranks high on my list of non-alcoholic options. It's reminiscent of Campari, with an herbed citrus character that's chock-full of botanicals, and a bittersweet citrus finish. It has a very strong flavor and a little goes a long way. Ritual always does a great job replicating the burn of alcohol on your throat, which is always interesting and adds a nice complexity to your drinks. It has zero calories per serving and only 2g of carbs, making it a great additive for a light summer drink.
