Grapefruit Radler Mocktail Recipe

Great for brunches or afternoon sipping, the grapefruit radler is a must-try this summer.

A radler is like the less-popular cousin to the shandy, but instead of lemonade you mix grapefruit juice or soda with a light lager or wheat beer. In this alcohol-free version I'm using Busty Lush's "She's Golden" n/a beer which stands up well to the other juices in this recipe and ACTUALLY tastes like beer. You can read my previous review and learn more about this amazing, female-owned company here. A non-alcoholic pilsner or lager would work well too - just nothing too dark.

I'll be batching this recipe for Father's Day brunch and can't wait to share it with my family. Cheers!

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz grapefruit juice (freshly squeezed really does make a difference here if you can manage it)

  • .5 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice

  • .5 oz simple syrup

  • 4-5 oz "She's Golden" Blonde by Busty Lush (or a high-quality n/a beer of similar style)

  • Slices of grapefruit for garnish

Instructions

  1. Pour the juices and syrup into a shaker and fill with ice.

  2. Top with beer and give a couple gentle shakes.

  3. Pour into fresh glass, garnish with grapefruit slices and enjoy!
