The perfect mocktail to sip this spring!
I recently realized that enjoying a delicious drink in a nice glass with some special touches like these flower ice cubes is all I'm looking for in the evening, and I don't miss the booze at all. Normally I don't get all fancy with floral ice cubes, but it's actually SO easy to make them and a great way to upcycle flowers that are on their last leg.
Ingredients
1/2 C strawberries (defrosted from the freezer is fine if you don't have fresh on hand)
1/2 lime, juiced
Splash of agave or simple syrup
1oz grapefruit juice
3oz Betty Buzz grapefruit soda (found at PCC, Whole Foods, QFC)
Instructions
Add strawberries, lime and agave to a glass.
Muddle until the strawberries break down.
Add in grapefruit juice and stir.
Add in ice, and top with grapefruit soda.
