A zero-proof cocktail that's perfect for celebrating Halloween
A simple, non-alcoholic cocktail recipe that you can throw together in a snap if you're hosting a Halloween party or looking for a great mocktail to enjoy during the spookiest month of the year.
In this recipe I'm using Surely's non-alcoholic Bubbly Red, a fruit forward blend of alcohol-removed Cabernet & Pinot Noir with fun effervescence, dark cherry notes and a dry finish. Mix that with a splash of homemade blackberry syrup and lemon, and you've got yourself a delicious mocktail for Halloween!
Ingredients:
Blackberry Simple Syrup
1 C blackberries
1 C sugar
1 C water
Witches Potion Recipe
1 can non-alcoholic Bubbly Red by Surely
1 oz blackberry simple syrup
Squeeze of fresh lemon juice
Instructions:
To make the blackberry simple syrup combine all ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a simmer. Simmer about 6-8 minutes and then let fully cool. Strain into a jar and store in the fridge for up to two weeks.
To make the drink combine 1 oz of chilled syrup, a can of Bubbly Red, and a squeeze of lemon in a glass and stir.
